What is Listen to Pocket? Voicepaper 2 is an upcoming app for iOS11 that will replace Lisgo, which will no longer work on the new operating system. The app allows users to listen to web articles saved in Pocket, Dropbox, Evernote, and Copy and Paste with a natural-sounding voice. Users can sign up to be notified when the app is available.

Software Features and Description

1. Lisgo reads web articles saved in Pocket aloud to you with a natural-sounding voice.

Love Lisgo! Music?

Hello, I absolutely love the Lisgo app. When I stumbled on it not too long ago it immediately became my favorite app because I am constantly on the go and it helps me keep up with my pocket repository of articles I am trying to keep up with. Thank you so much for creating the app! I am very interested in having the ability to the app to music while listening to the Lisgo app. Is this a possibility at all? For instance, when I do text-to-voice on iOS it conveniently lowers the volume of any music I have playing in the background until the content is finished speaking and then raises the volume of the music again. It seems like that might be a core iOS app dev. functionality that could be triggered somehow? Again, thank you, SO MUCH, for this amazing app. It is my absolute favorite.

I found this app shortly after it became available two years ago and have used it daily since -- more than any other app on my iPhone. It's simple and straightforward. I've tried a lot of other similar apps but only Lisgo does what I want it to. Here's how I use it; maybe it'll help others: I've set up Newsify in article list. I long press titles that are of interest and they are automatically sent to Pocket. After refreshing content and starting the audio, I keep Lisgo in article list too, and swipe right to delete articles when I'm done with them. If I want to save any articles for future reference I don't swipe them. At the end of the day, I open Pocket and send those remaining articles to Pinboard, tagging them on their way, and then deleting them. I use Pushpin to access my Pinboard archives. I seem to have lost the dark mode availability in Lisgo on my new iPhone 6... I hope that feature will be returned. Thanks.

I hope the developer will update this app for future iOS upgrades. I used to use Lisgo just fine on my ipad2 with minimal storage. Now I have an iPad Pro with lots of storage. I'm a senior citizen who listens at night when I cannot sleep well and the continual play feature is even better than the voice option in the Pocket App. With Pocket you have to start every new audio article yourself. With Lisgo, the articles load themselves for hours. Of,course, you need Pocket for Lisgo to tap into. Nonetheless, Lisgo is pure genius. Thank you Lisgo!
The missing app that should be mandatory!

I have been looking for a way to read articles out loud using the built in iphone speech tool. But it was awkward because you have to try to highlight the whole article to read it. I already was using Pocket to save articles for reading later, so this app basically turns my reading list into a PLAYlist! And the voice sounds great. There is also a speed control right on the main screen, not buried in a menu like some other app's options.
