  • Unable to rename files. The option doesn’t exist.

    By splashofcolor (Pcmac user)

I found this app looking for one that would give me the ability to rename photos on my iPad Pro, running iOS 12.3.1. I’m tired of having to upload them to OneDrive, delete them from my iPad Pro, rename them on the cloud and then download them to the iPad Pro again. This app page states that among the features is the ability to rename files, which is exactly what I need. This would be really awesome... if the option actually existed. But, it doesn’t. Among the many options available to me in this app, renaming a the app is not one provided. I have tried with numerous photos, as well as PDF files. There are options to copy into many apps, save to device (I’m not sure why, since the the app is already on it) and so on. But, the option to rename a the app? Nope. It isn’t there. This is the one thing I needed this app to do, but the option does not exist in this app on my device. Back to the drawing board.
  • Great files app - handles lots of files!!!

    By Shadow_Magick (Pcmac user)

I have found this to be one of my favorite the app apps out there and I've tried dozens of them. This one has the most functions as well as being able to handle quite a number of files, and folders. The only thing that I would like better, as I use it to bring in ePub files directly to my iBooks, would be if it could handle multiple the app selections at once. That no app has been able to do this, I can't find fault with the app, as it's more likely a limitation built into the iOS. I have also used this to handle zip/cbr files for comic reading. It has handled manipulation of these types of files well, not to mention renaming files as I needed to. Sometimes it easier to do all this on the PC before bringing them into Files Folder, but it can be done after too, in case I missed a few things. Saves having to redo it on the PC and transfer the files again. If you need a great files app, this is one of the best available. Not to mention it is free, though even if it wasn't, it would be worth paying a couple dollars for its use. Happy 'Filing'!! 😉
  • Room for improvement:

    By Eyeslander (Pcmac user)

It would be convenient to have more user interface options, such as the ability to create color schemes for the apps folders, files, background, and icons. Options like this make an app more appealing to individual users, because it gives users a sense of accomplishment. Other than that I think the app is really nice. It functions well, holds what I want neatly, and doesn’t lag. I give 4 out of 5, because there’s always room for improvement.
  • Very good with Dropbox

    By Whiskey_Mac (Pcmac user)

I use this in conjunction with Dropbox, and works very well. It’s intuitive and easy to use. As for the ads, they are contained in a small window which is hardly noticeable. Some apps, the ads pop up and interrupt your work, so thank you for not doing that. the app viewing works well with one exception, can’t view .avi type. Please add this and it’s a 5 star.
