What is X-Anatomy Pro?
X-Anatomy is an interactive medical imaging atlas designed for medical professionals and students of anatomy. It is developed and maintained by board-certified physicians who were unsatisfied with the inadequacy of the existing anatomy apps and books. The app includes hundreds of images from actual human patient body scans and detailed anatomic notes about muscles, vessels, and key anatomic structures. It also includes lymph node stations for neck cancers, breast cancers, lung cancers, and liver segment classifications. The app covers major body sections from head to pelvis, including CT Brain, CT Neck, CT Sinuses, CT Chest, CT Lungs, CT Abdomen & Male Pelvis, CT Abdomen & Female Pelvis.

- Useful for teaching patients, med students, and residents about cross-sectional anatomy
- Ability to search structure, zoom, and scroll up and down slices is easy
- Great for bringing a greater level of understanding to CT reports
- Regular updates and changes to the user interface are expected
- Set up and explanation of each part is well done
- Can scroll through slices like in PACS
- More anatomy needs to be included, particularly the extremities
- Lack of details on legs and arms, which are also on the registry exam
