  • Total freedom to build your own space

    By Zarcronian (Pcmac user)

This app has loads of options for creative development of your own zen garden, the progression (with the use of videos) is also very fast. I’ve had the app for about 24 hours now and I’m on flower 22. There are several changes to the app that I would like to see just for personal preferences as the game is still great without them. Firstly an option to keep the flowers in their full grown state while still being harvestable would be nice as the look of the full grown flowers is part of the charm and the later flowers spend most of their time as little green buds. Secondly providing several options for music would be nice, my one complaint about this game would be that I don’t like the music but that is being nit picky so I’d ignore it. Continuing on being the night owl I am and finding night to be a much more charming time (though it’s bad for flower growing) it would be nice to have an option to switch the time in game to night not just for in game appeal but to also reduce the light coming off my phone at 12 at night. Lastly, increasing the range of lamps and fountains would be nice as they are very limited in their placement right now, only proving their effect when they are in contact with a flower. This has become quite a lengthy review if you could even call it that but over all this is a fantastic game that I am looking forward to spending more time with!
  • Outstanding, the permanent idle

    By eelixmanny (Pcmac user)

This game sticks out of all the games in the App Store and my device I play it on, first, the building and the way it lets you build where ever on the map you want and that you don’t have to unlock all the tiles before it. Second, the pot choice is outrageous with all types of variety’s of pots, in the real world pots don’t just go where ever you want, they sometimes get hit or blown around but in this game the pots are one with the ground and will be there no Matter what. Third, the gardeners are just the fastest workers and will keep going non stop, your fingers getting tired? Well we could always rely on the gardeners. Fourth, right now I’m only on the pointed bush and I have about 15 of them laying in my garden, not only do they help with the profit, they make my plants look more green. Last but not least, the whatchamacallits, I’m only with the coffee station and the music thingamajig. The coffee helps with my plants because when I put down one in the garden, the gardener drinks it and then starts to go to the middle of all plants and just goes flash speed, and the music thingamajig makes the game more calm and peaceful like a river over the sun. Recommendation: when you put down another plant... let’s say wallflower, and level it up, and then you place another one down, the one you just placed down is the same level as the first one you put down.
  • Really like the game but it’s slow for editing

    By thebirdman7 (Pcmac user)

The clicking is slow. Switching from dirt to path takes several clicks most of the time. When trying to add colors or anything if you miss your target the window closes and you have to open again. Editing is slow. The best thing is you can replace practically anything, like path with dirt and dirt over path and it will reimburse you if the cost is less. That’s helpful. The graphics for the flowers are great, I think the path and the decking could look better. Good graphics is what makes me want to play these games. Also, the gardeners are really slow getting around and they walk where there are no flowers. You can fix that by eliminating pathways. Attaching background colors in already filled areas is not easy, though the rotation does help. Pots become really pricey very quickly but I like that they are all the same price and you can switch pots and shrubs for free. I wish there were more options early on. I can’t even fill the space I have yet. The lack of insane video prompting is much appreciated. It would be nice if you would give more info on the effect of shrubs. It would be nice if you could see the plant options when pots are full. Replant will let you do it but you have to remember to cancel. It outdoor be nice if there were more graphical things to add to your garden. It feels pretty limited early on. Maybe water fountains and other animated features could be considered. Thanks for a good game.
  • Addicting and Relaxing

    By guinevere05 (Pcmac user)

I recommend this game to anyone. It’s so fun and relaxing creating your own garden. The graphics are so simple and beautiful. I’ve only had this game for a few weeks now and I play all the time. You can create your garden block by block freely. You can use many different blocks as you level up. So far, there are paths (white brick, grey brick, and even deck-type paths), ground (dirt, green grass, and many different types/colors of grass), pots for flowers, random things (phonograph, coffee stations, fountains, lamps). If you were curious, here’s how the game works: First you start out with only one flower unlocked and only a certain amount of blocks unlocked. You plant your flowers, and when they this app, they are collected and regrown - the gardeners do all the work for you. When a flower is collected, you get money from it which can be used to plant more flowers. Once a certain type of flower grows for the first time, you level up, unlocking another type of flower and more blocks/items. The more higher level the flower is, the more expensive it is to plant, and the more money you get from it. In this process, your garden grows and your money pile grows - allowing you to keep leveling up and planting more flowers. Thanks for reading, and thank you for making this game! :)
