  • Having trouble buying things

    By Salonbug14 (Pcmac user)

I can’t buy any packs or anything at all, every time I try it says “please check internet and billing settings” but I have no other problems with any other apps on the app phone and the problem stated above isn’t detailed enough for me to pinpoint the issue, please help me, I can’t buy any of the starter packs because of this and I’m going to miss out on them. Also, I think some of your levels need work, I think it is level 21 (?), it is a hard crown drop level and I’m sorry but I find it ridiculous, I play loads of these match three games and I’ve never come across such a difficult item drop level not even when I got into the higher levels (in the 100s) the crown needs more places to be able to drop into, those two slots just make it too difficult, if you get it stuck in one of those squares, it’s pretty much game over and that’s extremely frustrating (especially since I can’t even buy anything), I have a picture of said level but I can’t place it on here. Otherwise, I really enjoy the game and as an archaeologist I would really like to continue to enjoy it, thank you for your time.
  • Soooooo many ads....

    By Coolout (Pcmac user)

There are so many ads in this app that sometimes I have to close the game out completely because it just becomes an endless ad loop. The devs must be multimillionaires by now from all the ads that have come up on the app time alone! It's not a bad game, although they could definitely make use of the screen space - some genius decided that there should be an excess of space around the play space so everything is much smaller than it could be. Oh yeah, and did I mention the ads? I get it, devs want to make money. But find a way to work the ads in without making the game unplayable, because here's a news flash - if the ads never stop, we can't play the game, and what's to keep us coming back? General rule - no more than one ad in half an hour/per session, and if you don't have the sense to make the ad self-closing, at least ensure *we'll* be able to close it when it's done playing. Also, more emphasis is put on the story than the gameplay itself. Please remember it's a game, not a story. The weird lack of use of screen space is forgivable, but between the inescapable cut scenes and the ads, it's just not worth opening again.
  • From 1 star to 5 - customer support was amazing

    By MadPookie (Pcmac user)

History: There was a Last Chance Holiday promotion which promised 3000 snowflakes along with 25,000 gold coins. I was mainly interested in the snowflakes. I purchased the bundle and only received the gold coins. Not happy. Will contact their support team to try and get this resolved. Update: I emailed the support team on Sunday morning and honestly I was not expecting a response due to it being the weekend and new year's eve. To the app surprise, a gentleman named Alex emailed me back just a couple hours later. He and his team were able to resolve the app issue and even credited me extra gold coins for the inconvenience. Alex provided excellent follow through and has set the bar for all of the app future support experiences. Truly awesome response from this company.
  • It’s Okay

    By kristymcm (Pcmac user)

I like to have a backup game when I’m out of lives in the match three game I play the most. The storyline seemed interesting, so I thought I’d try this one. However, the graphics on the game board are so detailed - almost too detailed - the pieces were hard to distinguish, and it was not easy to see which blocks were covering statues, etc. I didn’t even go past Level 5 because the board was just too difficult to “read.” I had to focus on distinguishing the pieces so much that I couldn’t focus on the strategy of game play. It’s just too “busy.” (I feel like I should probably add that I play these match three games a lot. So I do have a legitimate basis for comparison.) Someone probably put a lot of time and effort into designing the graphics, but on the game board, I’d suggest toning it down. Give the pieces less shading and highlight. Also, make the option to skip certain things like the end screen where boosters go off and leftover pieces match up as well as character movements and dialogue. I’m sure it’s a good game, but it’s a no from me.
