2. One Clue Crossword is free to play, but contains optional paid items to unlock puzzles more quickly.
3. Instead of a list of written clues, each puzzle includes a single picture.
4. ONE CLUE CROSSWORD is a new kind of crossword puzzle.
5. You can disable in-app purchase functionality in your device's settings if you do not want to use this feature.
6. Every word in each puzzle can be deduced from the picture.
7. In some of the puzzles you'll just need to say what you see - but in others you'll need to think a little more laterally.

I had to set a time limit

I had to go into my Screen Time and set an hour limit on this game. It’s weird how quickly an hour passes with this game. If you’re in a position in life where you can’t stand waiting for something, this is the perfect game to play while you’re waiting. Word Town is another the app, but this is the all time consumer of the two.

Though, I did learn something new today; that the heavy shirt knights wear under their armor is called a "chain mail shirt", I had to use up a lot of coins to figure out the clue. I probably wouldn't have figured it out immediately if I had known it was two words instead of the app, since I had only associated "chain mail" as a threatening email forcing a group-forwarding response, but I would've had ways of researching until I did get it. So you might want to fix that to reflect two words. No snatched stars, today, though...since I did learn something new.

If only you had a way to scramble the words, & also let us focus on any part of the word, when utilizing the words placed before us. What I mean by the latter is that you only let us fill in the missing spaces, from beginning to end, & don't give us the option to start from any point we choose to do; the only loophole to this is to fill in all the spaces incorrectly, & alter it manually. Also, you all have a problem in giving a better way to earn purple coins (to play puzzles). The yellow coins are easily accessible; it's the purple ones that can only be obtained by either waiting it out, or getting a daily (which is basically more waiting after you use up those earned, purple coins) word reward. We have enough of capitalism in our country. Lastly, the ads are annoying. Please make them not as frequent. I understand it's necessary to have, but it'd be nice to not have that much of it. Other than that, I really do love this game. Not trying to sound & or be mean or disrespectful to the developers (or founders).

Definitely addicted to this game. Fun and passes the time when you're bored. Keeps your brain sharp for sure! I just wish there was a more clear way to EARN tokens! If you finish some puzzles you'll earn some but if you finish another puzzle, even flawlessly and fast, you don't earn any. I'd like to know how you specifically "earn" these tokens. I've looked in the FAQ and it doesn't answer my question. You need tokens to move on through the boards. If you're not earning the tokens to move on then you have to buy them if you want to continue. Well, I'm not THAT addicted! You guys are making money on all of those ads we are forced to watch, and I really don't mind watching them, I actually click a few. So do you really need to charge us for tokens to continue on in a game that you are already making money on? Come on....I'm sure you want people to keep playing this game!

A few minutes ago I looked up this app in App Store for the express purpose of submitting a positive review because I felt/feel it’s deserved. *Afterward* I looked at recent reviews about this app crashing & am both surprised & suspicious of these complaints. Therefore, I am updating my review to say this: For what it’s worth, I’ve had ZERO probs.

I’ve had an ad-free version of this app for over a year, & thoroughly enjoy it. Buying any tokens or coins stops ads, & it’s worth the price. As version history indicates, puzzles are frequently added. Though I have tokens & coins, I still occasionally buy the app or another from devs simply to show support to them for this app I find so enjoyable.
2 things to know:
1) If you’ve not completed all the puzzles, a free the app is unlocked daily at midnight; completion results in bonus tokens & coins.
2) A free the app-word-solution bonus puzzle (top R of screen) is offered daily, even after you’ve completed all regular puzzles. Though I’ve finished all the reg puzzles, I still open this app daily for this bonus puzzle to get free tokens & coins I’ll use when more puzzles are (frequently) released.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
