Great app, but one issue is popping up

UPDATE: I appreciate the developer response and finding out what is actually behind the issue! Since my original review, this issue seems to have been resolved. I’m still getting an occasional extra notification, but nothing to the extent that it was previously. Thanks for the response! Much appreciated! I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the app itself, or if the notifications on my phone are messed up, but I have some the app notifications set up for this app. All of the ones I’m expecting to show up...do. But they are showing up multiple times. I got about 20 notifications in the span of a minute. I didn’t have this issue before today. I’ll check to see if this is an issue on my end, but I just wanted to give a heads up! I’m giving 4 stars right now, but aside from this one issue...this would be a 5 star app! It is definitely one of my favorites, by a long shot!

This app is fantastic. I’ve been using it on the reg since version 1.0, and the developers have been making steady improvements, refinements, and enhancements ever since. And now Siri Shortcuts! You guys are the best! I’ve used A LOT of the app apps. I’m what you may call a the app geek. The one thing that keeps me coming back to this app, and the one thing that hasn’t changed since it’s launch, is the intensely visual way this app displays the app data. Instead of numbers and tables, it uses sounds, graphs, and animations, brilliantly overlaid into one single “the app wheel” display. Humidity, precipitation, sunlight, wind, moon phases... it’s all there, beautifully illustrated and effortless to navigate. So if you’re looking for a well thought out, elegant, creative the app app to put all others to shame—an “end all” so to speak in your tireless pursuit for the best of the best—this is it! Rests assured the devs are great, and the app is even better.

This is a very well thought out the app App! It has a ton of the features that most the app apps have, even the ones that update your the app right on the spot! Even the cute animations and sounds make the apps as well! Downside of this app: this WILL use a ton of battery VERY quickly ONLY when you're in the app. For example, I've used the app for about 15 minutes and about 7-8% of my battery has been used. It also makes the phone very hot as well. (I have a 5 month old iPhone 7 Plus, with a battery health of 100%) (This drain is expected from Apps that use your location, but I'm not too sure if it's supposed to drain it that quickly) HOWEVER, when you're NOT in the app and it's running in the background (setting your location to Always and having the app notify me about changes of the the app), your battery is completely fine and drains very slowly like before you went IN the app. So do not worry about the app draining your phone UNLESS you're actually in the app. Just remember, it is an app that uses your location if you choose to do so. So expect drains of battery life if you set your location to 'Always'.
Much like the gods, Weather Gods is beautiful but finicky.

Update: reinstalling the app made reading the signs from the this app more consistent. The priests who write the app are quick to respond to requests for support, and are working to include the gods’ views into the app systems in the app. Original review: (was 2 stars) Even with an iPhone X, this app is about as responsive as the gods to my wishes. Regular taps and strokes don’t accomplish what I want with the app, so I resorted to first the tears and then the blood of a virgin sacrificed to see if the gods would respond to these. Appeased, they showed me the forecast and gave me insight into when the heavens would light up again. Praise be to the this app for their mighty power, but I hope that they’ll be responsive to my pleas in the future. For $2.99, they’d better be!
